This is a short video of a mash-up of scenes from Akira, a crazy Japanese animated film (1988). LOOK AT THE BACKGROUNDS!!! SO MUCH DETAIL!!! Anyway, it's disturbingly awesome and it will stay with you a long time, this film. Also, the soundtrack is kickass.

This is one of those Anime's I still haven't watched yet, probably gonna look on Amazon for it. That animation and detail is sick haha.
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing, but also quite disturbing. It gets epic and horrifying in the full meanings of those words. You'll definitely appreciate it and come out of it inspired, but I have friends who have seen it once who then decided they were done with it: once was enough. That had been me, but then I saw this mash-up and have decided to eventually give it another shot...when I can stomach it. Oh, and it pretty much has the sickest soundtrack of any film I've ever seen.
